ACA Implementation Resource Guide for LGBTQ Advocates

The Coalition introduces the following “ACA Implementation Resource Guide for LGBTQ Advocates”. With this Guide, LGBTQ advocates, consumers, and policymakers now have instant access to essential reports, analyses, updates, resources, advocacy tips, and other state-by-state information regarding the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
With most key provisions of the ACA coming into effect by the end of 2014, LGBTQ advocates have a unique opportunity to influence their states’ decisions over Medicaid expansion, the determination of Essential Health Benefits, and the design of new health plan Exchanges – or marketplaces. The Coalition looks forward to working with HHS, as well as with advocates here in D.C. and across the country to ensure that implementation of these key ACA provisions is thoroughly LGBTQ-inclusive.
